MINIATURE FRENCH LANTERN CLOCK.
CIRCA 1790.

An attractive miniature French lantern clock with two spring barrels and 8 day tic-tac movement with hour and half hour strike on bell.

The enamel dial has Roman numerals and decorative gilt hands. The brass case has crystal glass panels to the sides and an all over cross hatched decoration. The pendulum is suspended from silk thread behind the clock.
