31478C.C An attractive and unadorned Anglaise style carriage clock. The gilded case of typical form with straight columns to the sides and five bevelled glass panels. The main enamel dial and alarm dial below are contained within a gilded and engine turned mask. The main dial has Roman numerals with repeat Arabic numerals outside the minute track and the clock has Breguet style hands. |

The eight day grande sonnerie striking movement has blued steel work and strikes the hours and quarters on two gongs mounted on the backplate. In the base of the clock is the usual strike, silent and quarters only.
