A SWISS SUB-MINIATURE SILVER & GUILLOCHE ENAMEL TIMEPIECE WITH ITS ORIGINAL TRAVELLING CASE. CIRCA 1900.

An extremely tiny guilloche enamel and silver timepiece standing some 1.75" high to the base of the handle. The exquisite little case with pink guilloche enamel and with silver back door. The inside of the door still retains its original engine turned spotting. The case is numbered 1856 inside the rear door and on the bottom, together with the Swiss silver mark and the trademarks for Stylo and the Concord Watch Company Swiss. The gilded dial with an engine turned centre and tiny blued steel hands.

The eight day Swiss movement, again with engine turning to the backplate and with a cut away in the corner revealing part of the movement and also the balance wheel and regulation arm.

The tiny brown leather case with two opening doors and small carrying handle with a key an indentation in the back of the case.

Height to base of handle: 1.75" (4.5 cms.)
